We just played Columbia Friday. We scrimmaged them for 50 minutes. We got to see their strengths and weaknesses. What did we do with this information today when we played them again? Nothing.
The good: Allison's effort throughout the game (she made possible our only goal). Also, Anna and Colleen's defensive efforts.
The bad: Making silly errors like cradling high and away from our bodies making for very easy checks by the other team.
The ugly: Close to 0 ground ball pickups. Ground ball pickups do not involve a lot of technique. They're mostly about effort, intensity, and desire. 0 ground ball pickups means we are missing these elments on our team at the moment. That is disappointing.
